Church office cover

Following Anne’s retirement, the support we receive from the office will be reduced until someone new is appointed and settled in.  Lois will do her best to deal with what comes in,  but we all need to be mindful of the inevitable pressure and keep contact with the office as brief and as seldom as is reasonable and to be understanding when things do not move as quickly as we would like.

The festive season is a poor time for getting applications,  so we have held off putting out an advert until the first part of January.  By the time we advertise, wait for a closing date, appoint and run the necessary safer recruitment checks,  it is likely to be at least April before a new member of staff joins the team.

The office vacancy will be advertised locally, via the Diocese, SMoB website and weekly church notices. Gill Langtree.
